Inspired
Hanging out with creatives doing what they love always gives me a boost and having Kelly and Trev in town this weekend has been wonderful timing. I’ve been getting some thoughts together about what I want to do when we get home and having the chance to talk it through has cemented some ideas in my mind.
I’m thinking more papercuttings; a range of products such as teatowels/cushions/notebooks etc featuring some of my favourite designs so far.
I plan to get more involved in the Brissie art scene than ever before, there is so much talent in my city and I want to be in the midst of it.
Seeing as the last year has been so much about travel, my favourite cities keep popping up in my mind. I’m thinking a cities series starting with two of my favourites – Amsterdam & Paris. London and New York are already jostling in my mind to be next while I of course am still loyal to my two home cities, Brisbane and Rotterdam. What cities would you like to see me put my spin on?

Barcelona and Venice! You could do some crazy Gaudi inspired designs for the former.. and maybe a sunken dreamland for the latter
Ooohh great idea! I haven’t been to Venice though… I need to get there!
Looooove your Amsterdam papercutting!! You’re amazing!!
Ow wow, these designs are awesome! Can’t wait to see your papercutting-take on the Kubus-houses
Melbourne? Dalby? Hmmm….
