Whirlwind.

I don’t even know where to start. Do I begin with our Italy trip and go into detail about the stunning cities we saw, the hikes we went on, the amount of food we ate, the wonderful friends we spent time with new and old? Or do you want to hear all about our weekend trip to Munich to catch up with amazing German and Aussie friends and drink ourselves silly at the Oktoberfest dancing on tables and singing Bavarian songs? Or there is my work holiday to London for 3 spoilt days exploring with Dutch colleagues? What about just life of late here, planning our next moves and slowly wrapping up our Dutch lives?

I don’t want to sound like I’m boasting, I know full well how lucky I am however Tom and I have worked bloody hard to be in this situation where we are having these incredible experiences. It’s a bit of a whirlwind at the moment but I know that I will look back on these couple of years with incredible fondness. For now what about I leave you with a couple of photos of Rome – that epic city that boasts so much history it almost took me a few days to actually comprehend that I was standing there. In Rome. This travel thing is crazy sometimes.

Rome is a bit of a outrageous city, really. Let’s be honest, I think Rome is probably the best city in Italy if you love that feeling of walking to a corner and BOOM there is the colosseum. Then walking to the next corner and BOOM there is the pantheon. Then walking to the next corner and BOOM there is is Trevi Fountain hahaha I could go on for days.x
